Stallar has been snowboarding since she was 17. It seems late but she fell right into it. And this business is a product of her love for the snow, gliding across that crisp surface and trekking through the trees. With her added interest in small business and a passion to expand it to a wider base, she has created boards that she herself would ride and can afford.
Growing up in Tahoe was always a pull to do snow sports but growing up in a lower middle class family made it hard to get equipment and passes. A one or the other deal doesn't work in snowboarding.
Now that she is 25, she knows that there are still individuals and families out there who want to be part of the winter activities but can’t because of cost. So now that she has cut the middle man, high quality can exist in a less expensive manner. A trip to the lake, or any local ski resort isn’t as expensive now that a good quality board can be purchased for much less. Our high quality snowboards are hand-made in San Diego, California.
